With its legendary STIHL quality and updated modern design, the STIHL Light 04 Guide Bar is a great all-around option for frequent chainsaw use. The bar itself consists of three metal plates electrically welded together for a lightweight yet stable feel, and a narrow bar nose is designed to reduce kickback. The four-rivet sprocket in the bar nose allows the chain to travel from the top to the bottom of the bar, reducing wear and tear. Induction-hardened rails also increase wear resistance and help lead to a long service life. The guide bar includes convenient laser engraved graphics that list length, pitch, groove width, drive link count, and part number.

The ROLLOMATIC® E is a general-grade laminated guide bar made of high-grade steel. Consisting of three electrically welded metal plates, it is lightweight, yet provides great stability. A sprocket is incorporated in the nose of the bar that carries the saw chain from the top to the bottom of the bar. This not only reduces wear, but also enables the bar nose to be made considerably narrower. This type of construction is an advantage where extensive use is made of the bar nose (i.e. limbing and boring). All STIHL ROLLOMATIC® bars are designed with a narrow nose to help reduce kickback tendencies. And the star-shaped sprocket can be replaced several times before the whole bar is due for replacement, increasing the service life of the bar.

Applications: All-around guide bar suitable for small-to-medium-duty chainsaws. Typically, this bar is not used by professional operators.

STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled chain, and green-labeled reduced-kickback bars on all powerheads.
