Contractor Sales

Are you a solid sales pro? Do you execute sales strategies by building customer relationships that last? Are you experienced with the contractor marketplace? Call on residential and commercial contractors in the greater Lake Sunapee territory selling top-line lumber and siding. Build relationships, negotiate pricing, and carry out an aggressive sales strategy that serves the customers and increases market share. Be a vital part of our small team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • - Proactively grow and manage local builder accounts.
  • - Make outbound calls to pro builders, contractors and B2B accounts.
  • - Create a monthly call sheet for the owner to visit accounts and bring welcome kits.
  • - Increase and maintain a strong network of industry relationships.
  • - Focus on account management to help move prospects to active accounts and inactive accounts back to active accounts.
  • - Work closely with team members to help improve customer database.


Job Qualifications:

  • - Recent or current experience in the lumber industry
  • - Demonstrated pricing and contract negotiation skills.
  • - Successful sales and account management experience
  • - Strong knowledge of blueprints, takeoffs, and codes
  • - High personal and professional integrity
  • - Knowledge of retail computer systems, a plus


Compensation and Benefits:

  • - This is a biweekly paid position based on the professional and work experience required.
  • - A performance bonus plan is also part of the compensation based on sales volume and margin targets.
  • - There are currently no direct reports to manage for this position.
